Training & CPD

Meaningful professional development on service user and carer involvement for academic staff, service users and carers across UK higher education.

A service user sharing experience with health students
Why it matters

Building confidence to involve lived experience

As leaders in championing education and co-production, UKC-SUCI provides access to innovative practices and meaningful professional development opportunities on service user and carer involvement.

Current practice across HEIs shows a lack of training for academic staff on facilitating meaningful SUCI. Our training and CPD work helps close that gap, alongside best practice guidelines on curriculum design, teaching, learning and assessment.
